I have been known to talk hour and a half long showers, sometimes falling asleep curled up on my side just enjoying the steamy water almost choke me to death. It's wonderful :)
When I was a kid I used to bring a towel into the shower with me and use it as sort of a semi-permiable "water tent". It would keep off the direct shot of the water, but i'd get the heat and the "drip-drip" of the water anyway. It sounds a little different too, which is kind of appealing.
Which leads me to another fun shower activity. Plugging your ears really tightly and then letting the spray from the showerhead bounce off your head, face, shoulders, etc, and noticing the differences in reverberation of different parts of your body...
Which brings me to my last point. Yah. I used to wank in the shower a lot, but i'm not sure if a dildo-ized shower head would do it for me as much as the women that Anil Dash was referring to.
Most of my best thinking gets done in the shower. Maybe it has to do with being nice and warm? Or not having any distractions/interruptions? Dunno.
syndromes - I haven't tried the towel/water tent thing yet. I wonder what Tree would think if she came into the bathroom and saw a tent setup in the tub. ;)

I love long hot showers. Although, a certain husband frowns on taking too long in there...so...I just take long ones when he's not here. ;-)
Personally, I do my best thinking in the shower. And the acoustics are wonderful for singing, too!
