2002.02.14: Why is "Conservative Christian" a common phrase and "Radical Chrsitian" a rare one?

Mark Morford, in his column "Jesus Drives a Hybrid", gets "that Jesus was a true radical. A renegade. A progressive humanitarian, a wanton liberal, a prototypical Earth First!-er."

The "liberal media" gets it. Why don't more of my fellow Christians get it?

(Can you tell that my classmates almost never vote for the same people that I do?)
