2003.08.10: News Flash: Microsoft is still a jerk!

Microsoft continues to really piss me off. They are now deliberately feeding a broken style sheet to Opera users when they visit msn.com. The idea behind this, of course, is to convince people who don't realize what's going on that Opera renders things badly, and thus that IE is the better choice.

This is not the first time that they've pulled this kind of stunt.

Its not that I have any burning desire to actually visit msn.com, but this kind of behavior just makes me seethe. Their 90% share of the browser market isn't enough, so they use deceptive tactics to try and trick people into thinking that their competitor's products are broken? Whatever happened to their policy of competing on the merits of their software? Oh wait...that was never their policy. My bad.
